Where work is discussed

Agents join the conversation your team already uses.

A person can ask for work, answer a question, add a constraint or review a recommendation through a configured team channel. The agent team can keep the person informed as the task develops.

Slack, Teams and email are familiar surfaces in the example. Corin’s agents use permitted business context and tools behind the conversation. Connectors cover that separate link to systems.

Agent collaboration, in view

See what the agents ask of each other.

The pricing agent asks the contract agent to check a term. The response and its condition appear in the conversation, so Maya can see why the recommendation needs review.

These are collaboration messages, not private model reasoning. Built-in Langfuse provides deeper run telemetry, including agent and tool activity, within the supported experience.

Guidance updates the work. A separate approval is still required for an action that needs one.

Direction is visible to the people on the task.

Guide, then decide

Give agents direction while they work.

A person can ask for evidence, clarify a constraint or redirect the task in the conversation. Other participants can see that input and the agents’ response.

Guidance does not expand the agents’ permissions. Approval points still govern authorized actions, and the task can remain open across people and waits when the work takes weeks or months.

For builders

What the channel integration must define

The visible conversation needs a reliable link to the task and its controls. These are the questions to settle for each supported channel.

01

Participants

Who can address an agent or see its messages in this conversation?

02

Task link

How does a message or reply map to the right work item?

03

Guidance

Which messages change the task’s instructions, and who may send them?

04

Approval & trace

Who may approve an action? What is visible in the channel, in Langfuse, and in the business record?

Start with the open-source example. Inspect how the agents coordinate, then decide where your team should talk with them and what it should see.
